COMPEL Women's Conference exists to draw women into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through sound Biblical teaching, worship and prayer while promoting unity in Christ.
Our History
COMPEL hosted the first Women’s Conference in January, 2002. Since then, the conferences have become a yearly event in Sioux City area for Christian women. Across denominational lines, women come together to worship, pray and to be challenged by God’s Word. The COMPEL Women’s Conferences are committed to building unity in the Body of Christ. Working together is the eight-member board of directors and a 10-member advisory board, who represent 13 different churches in the Siouxland area. Our goal is to provide a local, quality, yet affordable yearly conference for women that will meet our stated mission. The vision for the conferences came out of a desire to have a time of deep spiritual teaching, as well as the opportunity to fellowship with other Christian women. It is the goal of each conference to move us individually to a clearer understanding of God’s will, and to move us corporately toward the fulfillment of Christ’s prayer for His church. As stated in John 17: 20-21, “I do not pray for these alone, but for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one … in Us, that the world may believe…”
He Knows My Name...
"But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine."
